How Cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing) Works

What will happen at a fat freezing appointment?We’ll get you comfortable and apply a very chilly gel membrane before attaching the fat freezing applicator. The machine pulls in your fat and can pinch, but you won’t feel a thing once the freezing begins. Depending on the area, 30-60 minutes later, we’ll take everything off and gently massage the area. We’ll give you some aftercare advice, and that’s it. You’re good to go. You’ll probably get some bruising and soreness for about 7 days. We recommend drinking more water than usual to help flush out the fat through your lymphatic system for the best results.

Can you do fat freezing on my arms?Unwanted fat on the upper arms is very common, this fat is often referred to as bingo wings. This type of fat is more of a problem with women as the fat deposits in this area are affected by hormonal changes and are often resistant to diet and exercise. Does fat freezing hurt?It's possible to feel slight discomfort but not necessarily pain from fat freezing. A numbness can be felt caused by the cooling sensations from the freezing applicator used during the procedure. You may also feel slight pinching and pulling sensations as the fat cells are frozen and pulled out.
